Planeta Brasil is a half-hour program that shows how Brazilians live outside Brazil. It shares their struggles and successes as work at building lives in a foreign culture. The show is presented by TV journalists Cesar Augusto Gomes and Luciana De Michelli. Planeta Brasil is hosted by Patricia Poeta, from New York and directed by Amauri Soares. With the help of producer Tanira Lebedeff, they search for human interest stories involving the Brazilian community throughout the United States. The executive producer is Fabio Golombek.

This entertaining and exciting show has an upbeat inspirational feel as it reveals the poignant, moving, and even humorous sides of living in a society far from home.
